On deck 6 forward are located a total of 16 category 2C balcony cabins (8x portside and 8x starboard). These are nicknamed “Sweet 16” and feature larger for this grade verandas. As in Celebrity Millennium’s Concierge Class staterooms, cabins come with plush robes and slippers, daily canapes, welcome sparkling wine, upgraded bath amenities and complimentary usage of umbrellas and binoculars. Bathrooms have plenty of storage space both above and below the sink, and showers with a glass door. Soaps, shampoos, conditioners and shower gels are all in large, reusable plastic containers. One by one we arrive at the heavenly Hawaiian islands of Kauai, the Big Island, Maui and Oahu. We are regular visitors to the islands so we never book a shore excursion from a cruise line, we go off on our own, usually to the beach or a few favorite restaurants. But just about every passenger did take a shore excursion as evinced by the crowds in the lounges waiting for tours to be called. You have a wide selection of bars and lounges to choose from, several with talented bartenders who put on a high-energy show preparing a mix of classic and contemporary martinis.

There's a second balcony entry in the living room, which has a sectional sofa, part of which can be turned into another bed. The oversized balcony has a hot tub, two loungers, a two-person loveseat, two chairs and a dinner table with seating for four. Slider Party is two little patties topped with cheddar presented still sizzling on cast iron and accompanied by little brioche buns and the usual burger condiments. Another course is offered in what looks like a shadow box with many compartments. Our schedule of activities changes on every sailing based on the interests of our junior cruisers.
